OK before i start, I just want to say this is not a bias opinion because I really dont rock with either artist. I once did in the past but that was the old me...lol. but i just wanted to post this so people can see it and answer this question. Doesn't Ross come off as being a lil' desperate?
OVERRATED a slick term that reminds me of today's GIMICKS of hiphop. but dont get it confused not just today but as far as i can remember but thats another blog for another day. Putting a rapper on a pedestal and having others believe your argument is a crime of sort. when i thought about this subject earlier, i wasnt even going to name anyone in particular but f*** it. Lil Wayne is the most overrated rapper since 1977--- PERIOD. and people, please dont get it confused, saying 'he hating' or 'he just mad cause he aint on', i WAS actually a fan. not during the bling era but in his mid-career during the sqad up mixtapes, lights out, 500 degrees and the Carter 1. but it seems the minute i startED to respect dude for his lyrical ability and originality---BOOM, here comes the Carter 2. now dont get me wrong, i tried people, i actually went out and bought the CD. now im not saying it was weak but the whole point of putting out a follow up disk is to show growth. not the mention the HYPE build around the Carter 3 ( in my opinion, his worst release to date). now, i agree that he has payed his dues but calling this man the greatest rapper alive is a travesty. just because he's on everybody's single (which is not a problem, get your money) doesnt mean he's the BEST. think about this people, if wayne was to die today, what does he leave for people in 20 years to listen to...(Lollipop, got money, mrs officer)? c'mon people!!!!!! my point being... if the only thing you have to do is JUMP on everyone song and mumble some shit then why is ummmmmm Ron Browz not the best. And if it's because he sold and 'milli' his first week, shame on you because... its- already- been- done. sorry. OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE...SCRIPTS1
well not all, just some. this video is kind of hard to watch knowing this is what an officer, on duty to protect and serve, is capable of such foul behavior. this is really disgusting. i am not even the type of person to want to see another person down and out but this officer doesn't deserve employment regardless of his reasoning for this. last but not least, why is he not charged with assault??? Right now in Hip Hop, beef is a joke!!! Its not about who can discredit who the most on wax like it used to be. Now its more like who can say 'bitch ass nigga' the most. (hinting) No one can spit any more. Im thinking about starting a new campaign in the Rap world to get the word 'beef' changed to ummmm, Wrestle!!! Now, i laughed when i saw 50 dissing Ross wearing the SoulGlow wig but where's the diss tracks.
i personally dont care who Ross babymamma is or how 'Curly' walks around with Security. As a Hip Hop fan, I want to hear not only some music but some good music. The major thing thAT i hate about this whole 'beef' thing is how everybody say either 'I aint wit this back and forth shit' or 'When I see em, Its on'. where's the music people. But getting back to the word 'beef', i think wrestling sounds better because all you have to do is take off your shirt and talk shit only making a handful of sense. When Jay dissed Nas it was monumental, i remember where is was when i heard 'Takeover' and also 'Ether'. That was in '01, who since then has made a diss song thats even halfway close? In my opinion, the Sigel/Jada beef was cool but they didnt bring the heat like they were supposed to. but other than that, u had Em/Zino (wack), 50/Ja (Need I say more), Jay-Z/Jim Jones (Jimmy's awful), T.I./LO (LOL). Not to mention, Soulja Boy/ Bow Wow, that was a F'N JOKE!!!! So in conclusion, 'Rappers' if your going to 'Beef' with another untalented 'rapper' then do us all a favor and JUST SAY NO!!! MORE IN 48 HOURS...Scripts1
You know something, its not a bad thing to say my college experience wasnt as good as his cause I probably would not be able to function at this point. Im feeling the song anyway though. The song captures the Ash's college life from the eyes of a popular student, i guess. so hear it is and 'if you have a drink, please put it in the air. Enjoy...Scripts1
